Which area should you choose in Montpellier?

Our apartments are spread across three districts, all linked to the centre by tram. The right choice mainly depends on what you are coming for.

Historic centre and station

The Écusson is Montpellier's pedestrian heart: Place de la Comédie, rue Saint-Guilhem, Saint-Pierre Cathedral, the Musée Fabre, the Jardin des Plantes and the Promenade du Peyrou with its triumphal arch. Here, you can do everything on foot.

4 rentals: Le Secret de l'Écusson, T2 Le Refuge Saint-Roch, Triompha and L'Authentique Duplex, a 6-minute walk from Saint-Roch station.

Port Marianne

A modern district on the banks of the Lez, with contemporary architecture, the city hall, Parc Georges-Charpak and the Marché du Lez. Handy if you have a car, it is also the closest district to the beaches.

2 rentals: T2 Prestance and T2 Cubano, each with a terrace and a private parking space.

Boutonnet

A residential district north of the centre, close to the universities, the university hospital (CHU) and Parc Sainte-Odile, a 9-minute walk from tram line 1.

1 rental: T3 Stellar, on the 7th and top floor with a lift, a 25 m² private rooftop terrace and parking.

Montpellier: practical information

  • By train: Saint-Roch station is right in the centre, and Sud de France station is linked to the centre by shuttle and tram
  • Montpellier Méditerranée Airport is about 15 minutes away by car
  • The beaches of Palavas-les-Flots and Carnon are about 20 minutes away by car
  • The historic centre is largely pedestrianised: the tram is the easiest way to get there
  • Check-in from 4 pm (3 pm for Le Secret de l'Écusson), check-out by 11 am

Which rentals have a terrace?

T3 Stellar has a 25 m² private rooftop terrace on the 7th floor, overlooking the rooftops of Montpellier. Le Secret de l'Écusson has a 70 m² private courtyard and a 25 m² terrace. T2 Prestance (14 m²) and T2 Cubano (10 m²) also have a terrace.

Is there parking near the rentals?

T3 Stellar, T2 Prestance and T2 Cubano have a private parking space. Le Secret de l'Écusson has a lock-up garage, to be requested at least 48 working hours before arrival. For the other rentals in the centre, you park in public car parks, and each listing explains the options.

Can I stay without a car?

Yes. L'Authentique Duplex is a 6-minute walk from Saint-Roch station and 1 minute from the Rondelet tram stop. Le Refuge Saint-Roch and Triompha are 1 to 3 minutes from a tram stop, and you can explore the whole historic centre on foot.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 4 pm, or from 3 pm for Le Secret de l'Écusson. Check-out is by 11 am. Our team sends you the access details before your stay.
